Aishwarya Rai, husband Abhishek Bachchan and their toddler daughter, Aradhya, arrived at Vancouver on Monday, April 1 for the TOIFA awards.






Bollywood’s most talked about couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are presently in Vancouver, all geared up for the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA). The event will kick start on April 4 and will see a lot of Bollywood biggies in attendance.

Abhi and Ash will be performing for the ceremony, and have started their rehearsals in full swing. Shiamak Davar who is said to be choreographing the couples performance was accompanied the duo, strolling around British Columbia. This will be Ash’s first international performance post the birth of Aaradhya.

Abhishek tweeted a picture and wrote: “With @Shiamakofficial and the Mrs. Not bad huh? Considering we just got off an almost 24 hour flight!!”

“Killer flight, but Vancouver is definitely worth it!! Beautiful place. And now to rehearsals….. @Shiamakofficial be kind! SDIPA my favourite dance company, they make you look better on stage,” Abhsiehk continued.


TOIFA is a three-day-long extravaganza of fashion and music, in addition to the awards from April 4-6. The events begins with a concert at the Pacific Coliseum on April 4, followed by a screening of Hindi films on 5 April and the award function on April 6.

If reports are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan accompanied by their baby girl Aaradhya, will stay back in British Columbia a few days after the event.

TOIFA will be hosted by Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Actor Boman Irani will also join them in the show.
